The business consulting firm of Abbott & Fenner provides an annual scholarship.
 
AWARD VALUE: $1,000
 
According to the A&F web site, high school juniors and seniors, as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution, are eligible to apply.
Deadline:  June
 
For 2012, applicants for this scholarship need to write an essay (between 500 and 1000 words) on the topic below:

  •  What was the most difficult time in your life, and why? How did your perspective on life change as a result of this difficulty?
